Experimental Evaluation of the Effect of Replacing Diesel Fuel by CNG on the Emission of Harmful Exhaust Gas Components and Emission Changes in a Dual-Fuel Engine

The constant development of civilization increases environmental pollution as a result industrial activity and transport. Consequently, human in this area is restricted by regulations governing the permissible emission harmful substance components into environment. These include substances emitted combustion engines, use which remains high many industries. research being conducted to reduce emissions exhaust from existing newly manufactured internal engines. This presents used semi-truck engine, an innovative Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) supply system was applied. Using fuel installation allows mass exchange base diesel natural gas up 90%. study evaluated effect diesel/CNG ratio for different engine operating conditions (engine load, speed) on concentration toxic components, such CO, NO, NO2, NOX, sum CH4, C2H4, C2H6, C3H8, NH3, CH2O. dual-fuel had positive some even vehicle that been running years at mileage, but, simultaneously, increased.
